Re: KBS America Discussion « Result #1 Today at 8:41am »
As I mention in a previous message Love & Obsession ends tomorrow. It will be replaced by Reversal of Fate aka (I'll Give You Everything) on Wednesday.
Also tomorrow is the last episode of Landscape In My Heart. On Wednesday Beautiful Days aka (Belle) will air. This is a rerun from 11/07 - 06/08.
If anyone cares the last 2 episodes of Love & Obsession is this coming Monday and Tuesday.
This show really dragged us through the worst episodes yet! Can't believe how the writers thought to concoct this whole story! Many people who watched it earlier and posted on Soompi actually stopped watching it as they were so disgusted with the whole story. One person stuck with it and wrote a short post about the ending.
Can't wait for it to end now (on KBS) and give me back another time slot! But then, who knows what KBS will put into that time slot (or not). Seems like they are doing more replays and showing some dramas over and over now. Guess making shows like $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Iris really throws them for a financial loop!
Re: Kim Jung Eun's "Chocolate" « Result #3 on Dec 12, 2009, 7:29am »
I have been d/ling the shows from aja-aja.com. Since KBFD has decided only to show the first 30 minutes of each show. Basically the main act. But each show has 3-4 different artist on each show. Why even air this show if they are going to do that. But we all know why since we know who runs that station.
Here comes the Rain again... « Result #7 on Dec 8, 2009, 11:34pm »
Just read this post on Popseoul which reports that Rain is slated to perform in Vegas this Christmas Eve and Day at Caesar's Palace. Tickets range from $98 to $328. Settlement Tour 2009?
Maybe the bookies should put up odds on whether he'll show or not. Nah I think he learned his lesson after what happened the last time...
Re: Angel's Temptation starts 11/30/09 « Result #8 on Dec 8, 2009, 11:20pm »
This drama tries to be so intense but ends up being unintentionally funny more often than not. Which is why I'm gonna keep watching it! Plus you can't go wrong with Han Jin-hee in all his loud-mouthed, back of the neck grabbing glory. I know people pointed out the similarities with "Lure of Wife" but thankfully it won't be as long.
Okay, Administrators.....time to move this to CURRENT DRAMAS!
Ep. #1 had me a bit baffled and aside from the constant flashing on LBH (face and body) I was like DUH? What/where/how are we here? Transitions between scenes were poor and I kept wondering if everything was edited. The opening credits were so fast and short (18 seconds) that I went HUH? Looks like the episodes are not too long - a bit over an hour....UNLESS they are edited. Sayonara, you know the times...are these eps. about right so far?
Action definitely was there and I knew watching this would be rewarding but somehow #1 still left me hanging!
Ep. #2 was definitely better with a smoother move from scene to scene. The relationship between LBH and KTH developed much faster than expected and that wink he gave her was SO SMOOTH....!! AND better not forget that kiss either.....looks like some REAL chemistry might be going on with those two for a while!!
Somehow it seems like LBH is showing his age now - a bit too skinny which emphasizes one's age too, BUT he still looks good and the work he put into developing that body for GI Joe is really showing in one buff look!
So I'm hooked and looking forward to each and every show to come. Sure wish this was a 50 episode one but I'll take the 20+ they offer!!
The average length of the first 16 episodes is between 62:30 - 64:00.
Just be glad your not watching LBH in Hi-def 720P. His face sure does not look like a pretty boy. I am not sure if it's the makeup that they want his face/skin to look so rugged looking. But it sure does not look pretty.
Thanks for the info re episode lengths. As far as his "TV look," I really am surprised at how much older he does look. And for once I guess I must be happy that my HD TV is so crummy and I am not seeing what you are seeing as this is enough to make me think...hmmmmm. Maybe it is partly the makeup because in one scene when he was naked oops I mean bareback (Fruedian slip ) his body looked so bronze compared to his face.
But the kiss and wink are still overriding all of this!
