I DVR'd Hometown Tales and caught Princess Has Returned after all. What do you think of this drama so far?

Hmmm, not sure if I'm going to keep watching. OYS's husband is a jerk and he's such a loser. The writers all think that by inserting OH MY GAWD in their character's lines it clarifies that yeah they studied in America and they're worldly

I wonder if they realize it's using someone's name in vain

being that SK has a lot of Christians. If I hear them calling each other gijibe one more time [image]

HSH looks younger than in her mid-40's but the mini skirts are too much on her because of her really thin legs. Let me know if it gets better. It's scheduled for 16 epis so it will be a short one. I don't think the ratings are that high since it's up against a popular historical drama.

Any one else notice how screwed up the musical parts of the soundtrack of each drama on KBSWorld is. It's like listening to a old 8-track or cassette tape when it has been worn out. The music just drags and drags.

2005 KBS Drama :Golden Apple" is now airing on KBS World at 2pm daily. This replaced "I Am Sam" which i believe ended last week Friday.

I could be wrong about that though. Yes I was wrong since episode 1 of Golden Apple aired today.

KBFD schedule said 1:00-2:00 Wed/Thursday but I just checked my DVR and it was wrong. Starts one hour later at 2. I hope this isn't because of DST and my DVR catches Sons of Sol Pharmacy this weekend. Just in case though I recorded an hour before and an hour later.

For what ever reason their is now 1 hour of Korean news from 1-2pm. It just started on Monday I believe. Of course Oceanic schedule does not show that. I was wondering why when I turned to CH. 80 yesterday at 2:30pm that I Am Sam was still on. See I just remember that the last episode of I Am Sam was shown yesterday. Yes another brain fart by Sayonara. [image]

Yeah, another miss for me. I wanted to record this one over as not sure of the quality of the first time it played but also missed most of #1 as recorder was set to record 12:55 - 2:15pm.

Funny how when you ask KBFD if the time changes for KBS, they only refer to the night dramas and never tell you if the morning or day shows change time.
Anyway, my favorite from Golden Apple has been Kim Ji Hoon and was so happy to see him appear in Iron Empress as her nephew and the last Emperor in that drama. He is [image]

The ending to Sons Of Sol Pharmacy was wrapped up perfectly. I'm going to miss this drama and I rate it as the best weekend drama everrr.

Next up is another good drama from the writers of Infamous Chill Sisters starring dun dun dun...your favorite sha bang sha bang character Ahn Nae Sung from First Wives Club.

Yes, I enjoyed Sons of Pharmacy, too. I'm glad they didn't leave any loose ends on the main characters.
The next story has three of the guys who were brothers/brother-in-law in First Wives, plus the guy who played Bok-Soo's FIL. I think this drama will be good, too.

Regretted that I gave up on Sons of Sol Pharmacy but can't watch them all. I do have the recorder set to go for The Three Brothers with our favorite ANS!!! Time for a new thread!

Yeah, great enticement here with those 3 from 1st Wives. Too bad they could not get Lee Sang woo, the handsome dude, in this one too!!

got home yesterday and quickly checked to see if 8 days of shows were recorded - HOORAY! All seemed to be intact.

Had to go out to a meeitng and got home with The Queen Returns playing. Rather than watch that, I quickly switched to catching up with Jolly Widow and somewhere along the third catch up show, I fell asleep.

Just checked now and OOPS, where was ENT WEEKLY on Monday night?????
Looks like it played last night while I was sleeping! Got part of it on the end of The Queen Returns and another part of it on the beginning of King Sejong. The schedule for next Tuesday is not up on Oceanic and will call KBFD later to ask but anyone know what happened and if this is a switch for ENT WEEKLY?

I know I can catch the replay on Saturday morning - if it is there......better check that option out too! Aigooooooooo.......here we go again!

Sayla, let me know if you need any from The Queen Returns. I am not watching it now, but it is up on aja-aja so I can get it as far as they have the subs up.

As far as I can tell The Queen Returns on aja-aja.com is hard subbed up to episode 4. D-addicts has them up to episode 6. These are KBS World rips as far as I can tell. I have not d/led them. But I have d/led some other KBS World rips on d-addicts and the quality was pretty bad. Also the resolution on my hd tv looked weird. The KBSWORLD logo was off the screen. Subs also were off the screen when there was 2 lines of subs. I forget what dramas I had d/led.
